Add Sword resources to GnomeSword and BibleTime

BibleTime will recognize resources installed in Gnomesword; therefore directions are given here for Gnomesword.
To install more resources into Gnomesword for all users, open Terminal. Type:
gksudo gnomesword2
This will open GnomeSword for you as root; otherwise if you install any resources they will need to be re-installed (= 2 copies on the disk) for each user who wants them.
Enter your password when asked, then when the program opens select
Edit--Module Manager.
In the Configure pane select Remote and /usr/share/sword/ (this will be greyed out if you start gnomesword without the "gksudo"). Click the Refresh button.

If no sources appear beside "Remote," select the Sources screen (in the left pane). Under Current Remote Sources, if a Crosswire entry is not visible, click Add and fill in the box:
   Caption: Crosswire
   Type: FTP
   URL: ftp.crosswire.org
   Directory: /pub/sword/raw
Go back to the Configure screen, click Refresh.

Move to the Install screen. If you don't see a list of Bibles, Dictionaries, etc., click the Refresh button there. Then you should be able to expand the list and select your choice of references to install.
You may remove any unwanted resources in the Remove screen.
